Call Forwarding:

With Call Forwarding, you add:

Ø      Convenience _ Call Forwarding Variable is easy to set-up and lets you receive calls when you are away from home.

Ø      Security _ This service allows you to forward calls to another number before you leave your home, so callers won't know when you are away.

Ø      Customer service _ Call Forwarding Variable allows you to receive and respond to customer calls, wherever you have access to a telephone.

Call Forwarding works with either touchtone or rotary service. The forward-to number cannot exceed 32 digits. Customers with Call Forwarding Variable are billed for calls forwarded to long distance telephone numbers (not the caller). An optional "ping ring" may be provided when incoming calls arrive, to remind the customer Call Forwarding is still active.

1.  Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.

2.  Dial the Call Forwarding Variable access code, *72 (1172 on a rotary dial telephone).

3.  Listen for dial tone.

4.  Dial the telephone number to which you want calls forwarded.

5.  Advise someone at that telephone number you will be forwarding your calls.

Or

If no one answers/line is busy:

     ·  Hang up the receiver.

     ·  Within 2 minutes, repeat steps 1 through 4.

     ·  Listen for confirmation tones to let you know service is activated.

6.  Hang up the receiver.  Calls will be automatically forwarded until you deactivate the service.

To cancel your Call Forwarding Service:

1.  Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.

2.  Dial the Call Forwarding Variable deactivation code, *73 (1173 on a rotary dial telephone).

3.  Listen for a confirmation dial tone which indicates the service has been deactivated.

4.  Hang up the receiver.
