With Call Forwarding Busy Line, you:

Ø      Won't miss calls _ Call Forwarding Busy Line lets you redirect calls when you're on the telephone.  That way there is less chance you'll miss an important call.

Ø      Customer service _ This service lets you forward calls to someone else or to Voice Mail service, so customers won't get a busy signal when your line is in use.

Ø      Convenient _ There is no need to enter access codes to activate this version of Call Forwarding Busy Line.  Calls are automatically sent to a preset number when your line is busy.

To change the preset forward-to number:

Call Forwarding takes precedence over Call Forwarding Busy Line. The forward-to number cannot exceed 32 digits. Customers with Call Forwarding Variable are billed for calls forwarded to long distance telephone numbers (not the caller).

1.  Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.

2.  Dial the access code for changing the Call Forwarding Busy Line Feature Button, *40 (1140 on a rotary dial telephone).

3.  Listen for dial tone.

4.  Dial the new forward-to number.

5.  Listen for confirmation dial tone.

6.  Hang up the receiver.
