_ With this service, delivery business can verify numbers prior to
delivery and avoid responding to "prank" calls.
Customers with either touchtone or
rotary service can subscribe to Calling Number Delivery. The actual
appearance of an incoming caller's number and date/time of call is
dependent upon the customer's telephone or display unit. When a call
is answered during the first ring, the caller's number will not be
displayed. If the incoming call is from a multi-line hunt group
without separate telephone numbers, the main number of the hunt
group will be displayed. If
members of the multi-line hunt group have unique numbers, then the
individual number of the caller in the hunt group will be displayed.
If a customer initiates Automatic Callback to an individual that has
Caller ID service, the customer's Caller ID information may appear
on the other party's Caller ID display.
