Georgetown Telephone Internet Co. is providing DSL service to qualified customers within the city of Georgetown. It has accelerated its DSL rollout schedule to extend service by the beginning of March to part of our Simpson County Customers.

Georgetown Telephone Internet Co. offers affordable high-speed Internet service. DSL enables subscribers to take full advantage of unlimited Internet access, talking on the phone and surfing the net at the same time, Internet for banking, downloading files quickly, shopping, online games and countless other uses. Finally, the customers in Georgetown can enjoy the benefits of high-speed Internet access.

1.5Mb unlimited access- $49.95

3Mb unlimited access -Individual Case Basis

 

Customer Service and Technical Support:

For all billing, account additions or cancellations, or general inquires, Georgetown customers will contact the Georgetown Telephone office at 601-858-2211.  Office hours are 9:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

For technical support, please contact 601-858-2500; office hours for technical support will be Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM.

Georgetown Telephone Internet Co. Introduces High-Speed Internet Access to Georgetown, MS

Including the Launch of the Broadband Community Center

 

GEORGETOWN, MS. – Georgetown Telephone Internet, a subsidiary of Georgetown Telephone Company is raising the speed limit with the introduction of its super-fast digital subscriber line (DSL) Internet access service for consumers and businesses.

Georgetown Telephone Internet is providing DSL service to qualified customers within the city of Georgetown. It has accelerated its DSL rollout schedule to extend service by the beginning of March to many Simpson County customers as well.

Georgetown Telephone Internet offers both dial-up and high-speed DSL Internet services. DSL enables subscribers to take full advantage of unlimited Internet access, by being able to talk on the phone and get the benefits of the Internet at the same time. Those benefits include electronic banking, downloading files quickly, viewing videos, shopping, games and countless other uses.

“Georgetown Telephone as been part of the City of Georgetown, MS since 1906,” said Joie Miller, GM of Georgetown Telephone. “We now have the ability to offer our customers their choices in communication needs, from telephone service, to Dial-Up Internet Access, and now DSL.”

Georgetown Telephone Company has also opened a Broadband Community Center located in the Robert W. Windom Jr./Georgetown Library. Georgetown Telephone has provided the Broadband Community Center with 10 new computers with the latest software from Microsoft. These 10 computers are connected to High Speed Internet (DSL). People throughout the Georgetown Community can experience DSL service within the Broadband Community Center for no cost.

“We have a permanent staffing for the Broadband Center, and as a bonus, the Library has extended hours and will now be open 6 days a week. At Georgetown Telephone,” Miller continued, “Our goal is to give our customers the very best service. We are the people you know, who you can rely on today and tomorrow.”
