Multi-Distinctive Ringing will:

Ø      Save time _ Multi-Distinctive Ringing allows you to avoid answering calls and taking messages when calls are for someone else.

Ø      Personalize greetings _ Multi-Distinctive Ringing indicates whom the call is for, allowing you to answer each call with an appropriate greeting.

Ø      Manage calls _ Multi-Distinctive Ringing allows you to distinguish personal calls from business calls.

You must request Multi-Distinctive Ringing from the telephone company.

An enhancement to Multi-Distinctive Ringing for customers with Call Forwarding Variable provides the option to forward the main directory number and/or dependent directory numbers. Customers with either touchtone or rotary service can subscribe to Multi-Distinctive Ringing. Multi-Distinctive Ringing also provides a distinctive Call Waiting tone for each directory number.  That way, you will know who an incoming call is for, even if you are on another call.
