Selective Call Forwarding:

With Selective Call Forwarding, you can:

Ø      Convenient _You can easily turn the service on/off as well as add and delete numbers from the telephone number list as you need to.

Ø      Save time _You can eliminate unnecessary calls, but the calls you want to receive will be forwarded.

Ø      Customer service _ Selective Call Forwarding allows you to make sure important clients are able to reach you when you are away.

Customers with either touchtone or rotary service may subscribe to Selective Call Forwarding.

Screen List Editing capability is needed to build and update telephone number list. Selective Call Forwarding numbers may either be 7- and 10-digit directory numbers or 1- to 7-digit extension numbers. Selective Call Forwarding cannot be remotely activated. For this service, 3 to 31 numbers are allowed on a Selective Call Forwarding list (actual list size will vary by switch configuration). Speed Calling codes can be used to access Selective Call Forwarding service.

How to Activate Selective Call Forwarding:

1.  Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.

2.  Dial the Selective Call Forwarding access code, *____ (11____ on a rotary dial telephone).

3.  Listen to voice instructions which:

     ·  Tell you whether service is on or off.

     ·  Tell you how many numbers are on your list.

4.  Listen to voice instructions which will ask you to enter, confirm, or change the number to which   your calls will be forwarded.

5.  Choose from one of the following options:

[Forward-to number] # Enter the number you want "preferred calls" forwarded to
0 Change the forward-to number
1 Confirm existing forward-to number
6 Listen to voice instructions which tell you: How to turn service on or off and how to add or delete numbers from your list.
7 Choose from the following options:
Dial Option
0 Listen to instructions.
1 Review your list. Note: During review phase, you may delete numbers by dialing 07 after the number is announced.
Dial Option
3 Turn service on/off.
# [telephone number] # Add a number to your list (touchtone service).
12 [telephone number] Add a number to your list (rotary service).
# 01 # Add the number of the last caller to your list (touchtone service).  Numbers entered this way are treated as Private numbers.
1201 Add the number of the last caller to your list (rotary service).  Numbers entered this way are treated as Private numbers.
* [telephone number] * Delete a number from your list (touchtone service).
11 [telephone number] Delete a number from your list (rotary service).
7 Delete a number from your list after the number is announced.
Dial Option
8 Delete all numbers from your list.
9 Delete all Private numbers on your list.

 

 

 

 

8.  When finished, hang up the receiver.

1.  Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.

2.  Dial the Selective Call Forwarding access code, *____ (11____ on a rotary dial telephone).

3.  Listen to instructions.

4.  Dial 3 to turn service off.

5.  Hang up the receiver.
