Selective Call Rejection:

With Selective Call Rejection, you can have:

Ø      Privacy and security _ Selective Call Rejection lets you reject calls from specific numbers so you aren't bothered with unwanted calls.  You can also avoid repetitive harassing calls since this service lets you add the most recent caller's number to your list, even if you don't know their telephone number (as is the case with many harassing calls).

Ø      Time management _ When you don't have time to spend on the telephone, this service allows you to prevent receiving calls from whichever numbers you choose for a period of time.

Ø      Convenient _ You can easily turn the service on/off as well as add and delete numbers from the telephone number list as you need to.

Customers with either touchtone or rotary service can subscribe to Selective Call Rejection. Screen List Editing capability is needed to build and update telephone number list. The telephone company establishes either a harsh or gentle switch- based announcement for all customers.  However, the company may change the announcement (between harsh and gentle) on a per customer basis through a service order. After receiving an annoying call, you may wish to prevent that person from calling you in the future.  Voice instructions will explain how to add the number of the last caller to your list (even if you do not know the party's number). For this service, 3-31 numbers are allowed on a Selective Call Rejection list (actual list size can vary). Selective Call Rejection numbers may either be 7- and 10-digit directory numbers or 1- to 7-digit extension numbers. Speed Calling codes can be used to access Selective Call Rejection service. If a number that is on your Call Rejection List is also put on any of your other lists (i.e., Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call Forwarding or Selective Distinctive Alert), Selective Call Rejection will override the other services for that telephone number.
